This is a nice fine dining establishment in a convenient location on the square. It has indoor and outdoor seating options. The inside is very aesthetically pleasing. We sat at the bar and there were only a few tables in the bar area but I believe there are more tables in another area. I was greeted and immediately seated when I arrived since we had reservations. I was immediately asked for my drink order. They have a vast selection of wine so if that's your thing you're be sure to find your fave in the menu. The bartender also made a powerful margarita!! For starters we had the king crab appetizer and a salad wedge. I must admit that alone filled me up before my entree even arrived. I had the Day Boat Scallops & Braised Oxtail. It was ok. I wanted to try something different outside of steak but wish I had gotten a steak! However the oxtail dish was unique served over grits. My dinner companion got the Louisiana Spiced Redfish and it was divine! We shared the greens and mac and cheese since the side portions are huge. We enjoyed both options. I will definitely return to try more tasty options. As far as pricing, it's the expected price range for an upscale establishment. They offer valet parking but there is also a garage nearby as well as street parking option.

Porch and parlor had many great dishes, amazing service of course, and classic American dining ambience. We loved the redfish, the tuna carpaccio and the lobster Mac. I was underwhelmed by the duck ravioli, the Chilean sea bass, and the chocolate cake.

As usual, P&P nails it. I'm still of the opinion that these guys hold the highest standards in dining in and around TN. Probably the best in the state and no doubt can compete with the best nationally. Service is always excellent with no flaws. Food is excellent from farm to finish. Each part of fine dining is well thought out at Porch and Parlor and it seems so effortless. From entrance to exit. From procuring food from the best sources to seasoning and pairing. Thank you guys for being consistently amazing for all of the years. My family and I truly enjoy each visit. We love the feel of the porch/patio and the vibes when dining in are top notch. Please continue to set the bar for fine dining.

This is such a great restaurant. I had reservations and was immediately sat. The server was very knowledgeable. They were so professional I felt like I was in a super fancy place but the food was FIRE!! No small portions here. We had so much food. It felt like it was made with love. It was packed so I highly recommend a reservation. Also they offer free valet. You can sit inside or out. Kinda expensive so I would suggest special occasions.

The Bacon appetizer is a must! This steakhouse is consistently good. The atmosphere is cozy, the wait staff is always on point. You will leave with a very full belly and some leftovers.

This was our first visit to Porch & Parlor and our dinning experience, with friends was EXCEPTIONAL! Confession, we are BIG Fans of their sister restaurants: Costal Fish, Flight, Flight Cellar, and Southern Social; but Porch & Parlor established their own high-mark for fine dining. The food was EXCELLENT, definitely the BEST Steaks we have had in Memphis over the past 25 years. Our Server (Chris) was EXTRAORDINARY (Attentive, Engaging, Personal, Professional) and he ADDED to our overall dinning experience.

I recently dined at Porch and Parlor and had an incredible experience. The fried green tomatoes were absolutely delicious and a perfect way to start the meal. For my main course, I opted for the bone-in ribeye, which was cooked to perfection. To accompany my meal, I enjoyed a beautiful glass of Caymus wine, a red Cabernet that paired wonderfully with the steak. Not only was the food outstanding, but the customer service was top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure that all of my needs were met throughout the evening. The ambience of the restaurant was also noteworthy, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhanced the overall dining experience. I highly recommend Porch and Parlor to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Porch and Parlor is a relatively recent traditional American restaurant with somewhat Southern cooking influence in Midtown, Memphis, TN. We absolutely loved the vibe of this place and were able to get in without a reservation on a busy Thursday night. We sat on the covered and heated patio - which felt more like an enclosed extension of the restaurant. We shared several appetizers - stuffed mushrooms, oysters Rockefeller, fried green tomatoes with shrimp, and chicken dinner with a side of recommended Au Gratin potatoes. All food was excellent and service was friendly and helpful. This is a classy restaurant, I would advise a more than casual choice of clothing.
